Pinewood Derby

Tyler had a great time this year with his first try at the Pinewood Derby.

He continued the tradition of doing the majority of the work at Grandma & Papa's house. Uncle Bryan got to join in the fun. Thanks Uncle. His car is the orange and white one. Go Speed Racer!

David is great during the pit stops! After the race they could have gone out for ice cream with all of the pocket change taped to the bottom of the car. I guess this makes it go faster.

Tyler and his partner in crime. He and Cameron are in the same class and bestfriends. We feel very blessed that Tyler has such amazing friends.

Go Nixon (heehee) Tyler really likes to strike a pose. Here he is with Matt. They have been friends since we moved to the Pacific Northwest (age 2 1/2). Our families crossed the bridge together (to Washington from Oregon).

The Derby was a tri-ward event so they really got into it! They did this grand entry for each of the 45 boys! It was pretty cool. Sorry about the lack of light, but you get the idea.
