We were able to take a wonderful family vacation to Hawaii. This last month. It was amazing! I think we could really live a successful and rewarding life if we just lived a perpetual vacation. Maybe?
Kira really got into the Aloha spirit. She loved the trip. Now that we are home whenever she is a little down her response is "I want to go back to Hawaii"
The first week we were there we stayed on the Big Island of Hawaii. This was wonderful because I was able to re-visit some of my childhood memories. Here we are at the beach right across the street from our old condo (why did mom & dad have to sell it!!!)
Jacob loved seeing the brightly colored fish. He really loved the freedom snorkeling gave him. We also got to see some awesome green sea turtles. They are on the endangered species list. Oopps Tyler accidentally stepped on one and then tripped over it. It's a good thing the ranger wasn't looking!
David was able to celebrate his birthday (again) in Hawaii. Realizing Hawaii was a good enough gift, we opted for an Oreo cake minus the cake! Who wants to bake in Hawaii!!!
