The Kids and I drove to Mom & Dad's house for their spring break. I was able to celebrate my birthday there with the family. As an extra bonus Leah and Eric plus Uncle Bryan were there too! If only David could have come with us and Tamara, Mike and Marissa could have flown down. The gang would have been complete! It was so fun being in the warm weather. They were able to have their Easter egg hunt in the orchard and garden. They had so much fun hiding the eggs for
each other and then finding them. I think out of 80 eggs we only lost 4. It will give them something to look for the next visit!!
We were able to enjoy the beach at Montana de Oro. It is such a beautiful place and just gets better and better now that the kids are getting older. Jacob brought along his metal detector that he hoped to find pirate treasure with. The puppy Cloe enjoyed chasing the birds. Kira just loves to dig in the sand and the boys loved finding shade under their umbrellas! Fun was had by all!
Our trip was not all party. Our main purpose was to plant the garden. We have to prepare for the Mid State Fair in July. We planted beans, potato, peppers, lettuce, tomatoes and most importantly for Kira~flowers! We were also able to enjoy the new cabin mom and dad put in. Jacob got to sleep in it with Cloe. What an amazing stay! Thanks Mom and Dad!!!!!
